I think concept 1 would result in the most effective image and changing the persons head to being a cracked piggy bank would look visually striking and convey your message well. Concept 4 I think would also work well by digitally placing objects and people inside the piggy bank. I do think there is a bit much going on in concept 2 and 3 and would be hard for the viewer to read and get a clear sense of the message you want to portray. All your ideas for imagery look great.

I have read through your communication objectives and you have a very clear sense of direction and of the message you want to portray through your image. Overall your concepts are all full of great ideas that Im sure will result in a effective image. Concept 1 shows a balanced composition and would compare/contrast the parents and child’s different views on social media very well. Maybe you could think of how to make the circles more visually interesting – or have the thoughts coming out of their heads somehow. Concepts 2 and 3 do have alot going on and could use some simplifying just to ensure your message comes across easily and clearly. I really like the direction you are heading in for concept 4 as the imagery of a forest deals with the uncertainty/dangerous aspect of social media. The use of dark colours would create the eerie mood you are after. Overall – you have so many ideas for both colour and imagery which no doubt will result in a really strong image.

Wow!!! All your concepts are so detailed and have had a lot of thought put into them to ensure your message comes across clearly. The detailed descriptions you have provided really describe your creative process and thinking well. Overall I think you have really strong ideas for imagery. Concept 1 – is very strong and would make such an eye catching image and incorporates a clever play on batteries – ‘sucking’ out the human life ,which conveys your theme of the addictiveness/danger of technology we are faced with. The shadow and graphic look with the power cords would look so good. My only concern would be that it would be hard to have all the photographs in order to achieve this concept, but if you could go for it!! Concept 2 – i think is your weakest as it doesn’t really have one dominant image for the viewer to focus in on and really understand you theme – the volcano doesn’t really connect with technology. Using the facebook thumb logo is such a clever idea and would work well being used in concept 4 /5. I also really like your final concept – which might be easier to achieve than concept 1? It is very clear it is about the negative side to technology and shows an intimate personal point of view by having the girl stuck in the cracked screen. Whatever you choose – your final image Im sure will be fantastic – you have built a great foundation for it with your detailed concept sketches.

Really interesting article and your communication objectives set out the message you want to convey very clearly. I like the way you have taken direct quotes out of the article to really pinpoint your communication message. It sounds like you are developing clear ideas for the imagery you could use – i.e combining human with nature aspects. I also think the imagery of tree roots going into a body could look effective. Im excited to see your final image!!

Your communication objectives seem clear and your concepts sound like they will be effective! The concept of using bright colours and movement will convey the ‘party atmosphere’ you want to create. The image of your ‘mother nature’ figure could work really well aswell – maybe you could think about exactly what the model will wear and how she will pose. I like the idea of superimposing another image onto her clothes – this could look really good.
